Medieval Weapons

The medieval weapons such as the weapons ranging from swords and daggers to knives and chain mail are commonly used in numerous Hollywood movies and dramas. These weapons had been very popular during the medieval times owing to the warfare and mayhem that had been common at that time. The swords, the spears and the shields and the helmets had been used by knights; whereas the other weapons had been used by the soldiers. The swords and the shields had been the two most significant medieval weapons that were the most popular as well. Amongst the medieval weapons the shields had been considered as the most significant weapon of protection that had been used by the knights in order to protect themselves from the blows of their enemies while fighting in the battle field.
