The Blade of Legolas. These magnificent recreations of the dagger carried by Legolas in the movie are 24” long overall with handmade 16” 440 stainless steel blade; they feature elven iconography down the length of the blade and have a wood encased handle. The leather sheath fits the blade snugly and has a snapping clasp to hold the securely. Legolas was a key follower of Frodo Baggins in his quest to destroy the One Ring in peter Jackson’s “the lord of the Rings” trilogy. Legolas comes from the Silvan woods, however he was not one of there kin truly he was a Sindarin or grey elf. Legolas joined the Fellowship at the counsel of Elrond at the behest of his father Thranduil. Legolas skill with the longbow and twin daggers are unmatched and shown through his exploits such as when with one shot took down a fell beast with Nazgul rider, or when taking down an Oliphant by himself.
