The Zetsurin Musashi wielded strong sturdy swords in battle. Their swords had to be constructed for speed and accuracy. Such is true with this modern Musashi sword. The blade is constructed from 1060 carbon steel with a heat-tempered finish. The hardwood handle offers white nylon cord wrapping with black ray skin underneath and it coms full tang which means its well secured with two bamboo peg. The 27 1/8 inch blade slides neatly into the black colored hardwood sheath. This traditional piece boasts with elegance and custom appeal never before seen in a modern day sword. 39 1/8 inch overall
