Kisuke Urahara, a former captiain of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13. He is also the founder and the first president of the Shinigami Research Institute. Urahara is a major character in the famous Japanese manga series. Urahara carries a cane by the name of Benihime or Crimson Princess, which transforms into its okiro or "awaken" final release which is know as Benihime's Shikai and Swordsswords is proud to say is full tang. This sword carries the attributes as shown in the anime series. The blade is made of High Carbon steel. The Urahara Benihime's Shikai Sword has a tassel hanging from its handle.

Kisuke Urahara always wears traditional Japanese wooden sandals and a bucket hat, which has earned him the nickname "sandal-hat". He is generally a laid-back, jovial fellow, although he can be dead serious when the situation warrants it. Despite his carefree attitude, his speech is always polite, though it is sometimes sarcastic. He can also seem serious, but his tone doesn't seem so. Yoruichi Shihouin notes that he tends to go over the top with whatever he becomes passionate about. He once described himself as a "mere honest, handsome, perverted businessman."
Kisuke Urahara's zanpakutô is Benihime or Crimson Princess. It is one of the few known female zanpakutô. When sealed, Benihime takes the form of a shikomizue (a blade hidden inside Urahara's cane). The shaft of the cane is able to separate a soul from a body, much like Rukia Kuchiki's glove. The shikai command of Benihime is okiro or"awaken".
In its shikai, Benihime's blade becomes a bit wider than that of a sealed zanpakutô and the hilt curves, adding a crimson ribbon and other elaborate decorations around it. Benihime has two known special abilities, one for offense and one for defense, both of which are activated by the command "sing". |

A nice sword, it feels nice and seems solid. Mine came with a ding near the tip, also the blade came with somewhat of an edge that was not very sharp and was off center. The leather handle also seems to not hold up well after swinging it and starts to string. Other thoughts: You get what you pay for with this one.

This sword is AMAZING!! It is a lot bigger than I expected but that just makes it better. It's strong, and made very nicely. Although it's not an EXACT replica of Urahara's Zanpakuto it is still a MUST have sword.

this sword is really cool i loved how it was alot skinnier then i expected. it has a great feel to it when you hold. looks exacttly like urahara's blade, the only thing is the lether handle wraping tend to string and rip but a few snips takes care of the job...a must have for urahara fans
