The hilt on this Traditional Kanji Sword features a gold color finish followed by the Black traditional platted cotton cord wrap handle. Under the Black Cotton cord is the two visible bamboo pin which holds the blade and handle together and also has an elegant gold and black cloth. This sword is full tang which means that the blade goes through the handle which also means its all sturdy and will not come apart once you swing it. The guard is also gold plated with traditional style finish. The blade is made from High Carbon 1045 Steel, comes with a blood grove and a visible hamon. The scabbard is one of the prized possessions in this piece with a much decorated gold cap, golden flame and the Traditional Bushido Warrior Code written in Gold.
