Throwing Stars

Throwing stars are quite famous owing to the mystical legend of the Ninjas. The throwing stars are also commonly referred to as the Shuriken that is pronounced as "shu", "ri" and "ken" that is roughly translated as the "hand hidden blade" and is sometimes also called in the West as the throwing stars.
The throwing stars as the name refers had been used for throwing, and occasionally also used for stabbing or slashing. As far as a shuriken weapon is concerned it is thrown on the striking surfaces of all the edges. As opposed to the famous throwing knife the throwing stars can be quite damaging to the opponent in spite of whatever kind of surface it might come into contact with. The ninja stars had been used by the ninjas themselves as a tool or a piece of metal that had been used on the farm or also on the old coins. When the respective tool had been sharpened on the edges it had transformed into a weapon that had been just perfect for the ninjas as the ninja weapons.
