This zanpakuto sword "Zabimaru" (literally "Snake's Tail") can be seen in the Japanese anime Manga Series. Renji's "Zabimaru" is one of the rare instances where a shinigami's zanpakuto spirit is actually seen, the other being Ichigo's. Zabimaru is a nue (a baboon with a snake's tail), hence his name. Zabimaru's spirit is portrayed as battle-loving and proud, similar in personality to Renji. |
