This is a handmade high carbon steel katana version of Renji's un-awakened blade measuring 44" in length featuring a full-tang blade and razor sharp edge. The handle is nylon wrapped, ray skin and dual-pegged for full functionality. The wood scabbard is painted in high gloss black liquid finish. Renji Abarai Unawaken Handmade Katana includes a Sword Bag.

More About Renji Abarai:

Fight along side Ichigo Kurosaki and rid the world of the hollow with the sword of Renji Abarai, a lieutenant of the sixth division of Gotei 13. This zanpakuto sword "Zabimaru" (literally "Snake's Tail") can be seen in the Japanese anime Manga. Renji's "Zabimaru" is one of the rare instances where a shinigami's zanpakuto spirit is actually seen, the other being Ichigo's. Zabimaru is a nue (a baboon with a snake's tail), hence his name. Zabimaru's spirit is portrayed as battle-loving and proud, similar in personality to Renji.

this is an excellent sword for the price. Im a very rigid sword critic and dedicated kenjitsu and iaido practioner (not to mention a bleach fan), and this katana is a great sword for those who want a very pratical blade for cutting or practice. the fittings ie..handguard(tsuba), spacers(seppa), handle ornaments(menuki) are basic qaulity nothing special. however the use or REAL rayskin under the wrap is incrediable..not even reputable practical swords use real rayskin. the blade is excellent quality. true carbon steal blade no visible temper line(nioi) or waves however, it does have a bo-hi or commonly known as a blood groove. I am a proud owner of a handmade tamehagane katana that was custom made for me under the request of my shinkage-ryu kenjitsu teacher, along with a two hand forged paul chen blades. and i am now a pround owner of this blade. a real surprise for the price.

OUTSTANDING...Your a dork. But a true sword conasure I own this blade and it is Amazing but if you think this ones cool get the handmade Ichigo bankai sword before it goes out of stock again.

Just got this katana yesterday. The blade is wicked sharp, and the tsuba doesn't move at all. The only problem I had was that the saya was a little loose; easy problem to fix however. This is an awesome cutter; well worth the money.
