Others have tried to imitate, but none have been able to duplicate the quality of this weapon. This is the Night Warrior Full Tang Katana. This quality sword features a blacken steel Kashira followed by the Traditional black cotton wrap tsuka (handle). Beneath the tsukamaki (handle wrap) is the real fish ray skin which is use in making handmade swords, it is also known as the samegawa. The tsuka also has two bamboo pegs and holds the handle to the blade which makes this work of art a fully functional Full Tang sword. Following from the handle is the blacked steel fuchi followed by the copper Seppas on both sides. The Tsuba (guard) is made from a blackened steel which has a Hexagon shape. The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The blade of the sword has been constructed of high carbon steel in a Maru Lamination. The Hamon and curve of the blade have been authentically created using the ancient Japanese method. The curve of the blade has been created as a result of the different steel used in the Ha and the Shinogi. When the blade is quenched the sword is covered with a clay solution, except for the edge of the blade. The blade is then heated and quenched in water drawn from the spring of Longquan. Since the Ha cools much more quickly than the rest of the blade the molecules in the steel expand and force the softer steel to fold back. The blade has been built with a high Mune, a deep curve, and a Kiji Momo Tang. A Bo-Hi has been added to the blade to lessen the weight and give audible feedback when swung. The hamon is in a doran style with a clear Nioi line. The Saya is hard wood with a high gloss black lacquer finish which carries a traditional kurigata. On the upper half of the saya (scabbard) is wrapped with black imitation leather. This authentic Warrior Full Tang katana comes complete with a black and silver style box decorated with dragons and flowers. The inner layer of the box is lined with a yellow silk cloth which brings out the sword even more. It also comes with a black cotton sword bag. You will make head turns with the display of this sword.
