More About Mikoto:
Mikoto is depicted with very short black hair with braids, along with yellow eyes. She is usually very physically strong and agile. She is always paired with Mai Tokiha as a roommate or close friend. Common running gags are Mikoto burying her face in Mai's chest and possessiveness of Mai; her catlike actions, occasionally causing her to be likened to a demon; her huge appetite, especially for Mai's food, her tendency to collapse when hungry, and her seeming naivete. Mikoto is usually seen with her two-handed sword, Miroku, either in hand or in a black sword bag.

Decent sword for a decent price

I ordered this sword about a month ago, and for the price I paid, I was pleased with what I got. It is a very faithful replica, and beautifully painted and made. On the downside, the sword feels both a bit short in my hand, and as stated in other reviews, it tends to bounce away from contact, instead of flex. Oh, and the wrap on the hilt doesn't sit very well without a bit of tightening up, which can make it awkward to swing around, since it feels like its about to slip.
All in all, though, it is a nice sword, and at the price, an excellent buy.

I ordered this sword a few weeks back, just getting to posting a review on it now. It's fairly well built, though a bit flexy. As mentioned above, though, when you make contact with something else, it bounces, partially due to a the semi-sharp blade. Personally, I'm about six feet tall, and the sword feels a bit short in my hand, but that might just be because it's more tapered than I am used to, since I normally collect katana. The wrapping on the grip also doesn't lend itself to any particularly vigorous swinging around, and slips a bit on the handle, but once it's tightened up, it's very aesthetically pleasing and a bit easier to swing without feeling like it's about to fly out of your hand. Those are my gripes.
On the pleasing side, it's a very attractive sword to hang on the wall, and the black blade and intricate patterns and guard always draw attention, making it a great conversation piece. If you are a fan of the anime, it's an excellent piece to add to your collection, since it is a very faithful replica--if not in size, in design, at least. If you like to take your swords out and practice a bit, it's also a nice, light sword that won't strain your joints like larger straight swords tend to, or tire you out quite as quickly. I don't normally collect swords simply because they're pretty, but at this price...who could resist?
Oh, and one more gripe: the sheath is...all right. It's not a fantastic sheath, but it serves its purpose; however, it is lined with a heavy paper material that you need to be a bit careful with when you sheathe the sword. It is very easy to catch the blade on the paper and rip it, or push it in too hard and poke a hole in the tip of the sheath, which can be problematic. Then again, it's free, so I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Overall: a nice sword for a very fair price.

The sword overall if pretty good. I will adress one concern about it that people might have.It is its length if any of you are worryd that it might be to short it is not. This in mind it is nice for the price it is not very sharp. also the blade is thin it does not bend when struck but it bounces. The sheith is very nice all in all a very good sword for the price.
