From the ruins of WWII, we have found this 1935 First Pattern Luftwaffe German Dagger. This Dagger was adopted in 1935 and initially authorized for wear by Luftwaffe Officer Pilots.  Because regulations eventually allowed other officer and (when the 2nd pattern was adopted specifically for officers in 1937) noncommissioned officers to wear this pattern, this is the most inexpensive "chained" dagger available. The scabbard is aluminum pressed with leather covering and metal fittings and it includes a hookup chain. The blade is stainless steel with a satin finish and a ridge line running down the middle. Overall Length: 19.5
