He his known for his fight in Justice and to see good
prevail. This is the sword of Captain Kaname Tousen Suzumushi Sword. This
katana was replicated to the Tee with its orange cord wrapped handle under
which has a generic same. The handle and blade is attach together through the
process of Full Tang which means that the blade fix into the handle is held by
two bamboo pin. The handle wrap is done with the Traditional Japanese style.
The metal guard is has been shape like a Tear drop which commemorates Kaname
Tousens past and has successive cut outs. Meeting at the point of the tear is
a small silver loop about the size of a bracelet. The blade on this sword is
made from satin finish carbon steel and carries a unique cut at the end of it.
The scabbard is made from solid wood and is finish with a solid black lacquer
finish. The throat of the scabbard is metal while the upper part of the
scabbard carries a metal ring with a matching nylon bow tied to it. This is a definite

Very Accurate, too bad it's not sharpened

An excellent, nearly perfect reproduction of the Bleach sword...but even if you're not a Bleach fan, it's a very cool & different-looking sword than your average katana. The sheath is flat black & the blade snaps right into it. The blade is full tang, which is hard to find in a lower-end priced sword. The cut of the blade tip gives it an extra uniqueness as well. It's very solid, and nothing rattles on it (except the sonic ring, which is supposed to). The handle is wrapped traditionally, with orange "silk," and the inside of the handle is faux white ray skin. You can see the bamboo pegs that hold the blade tightly. You can't take it apart, like more expensive katana, but seriously I just can't see the point to that, unless you pay 1000's of dollars for a REAL samurai sword & you need to clean it regularly & give high maintenance.
The only downside is that it comes with a false edge. This, of course, can be remedied easily enough with a grinder and sharpening stone, but I really prefer my swords come pre-sharpened. It just looks more uniform. Other than that, everything about it is perfect - especially the price. It's perfect as a "starter sword," a Bleach fan's collectible, or just an addition to one's weapon collection.

Just got this sword and I have to say that it is very accurate to the anime. The ring on the guard is not locked in place so it does move. The color is great and the unique cut at the end of the blade makes this sword stand out. The scabbard is painted in a flat black finish which I can appreciate because it doesn't show finger prints. The one thing I would change is having the blade have that hand sharpened look. To me that is one thing that make katanas stand out from other swords. The blade is factor sharp and all the fittings are tight. This is a nice sword for anyone's collection but you can really appreciate the accuracy if you are a bleach fan. Well done to the makers of this sword and keep them coming at this level of quality and accuracy.
