The drop point blade on the Spring Assisted is nice quality silver finished 440 stainless steel plain blade. This is a spring assisted knife, meaning when you push on the thumb stud to open it a spring takes over and propels the blade open (you can also activate the knife by pressing a flipper on the spine when the blade is closed). Spring assisted knives are legal in most areas. The body of the Baron is made out of aluminum and features a silver textured finish. The overall fit of the knife body is quite good as are the action and lock-up. This knife also features a pocket clip (tip down).
